About Carole Smith
Along with her NVQ Level 2, Carole received the City & Guilds ‘Medal for Excellence - Highly Commended’ when she qualified in 2001.
Completing her professional floristry qualifications in 2002, Carole passed her Advanced National Certificate in Floristry Level 3, also receiving the prestigious ‘Creative Studies Award’ in recognition of her outstanding floristry. During her final year Carole also received a Gold Award in the Society of Floristry's 'Floral Essentials Cup'.
Carole specialises in Wedding Floristry, Corporate Design, Special Commissions, Sympathy Tributes and Flowers for Special Occasions.
As a wedding florist, Carole's talents are in high demand, her most ambitious project so far was creating the floral decoration and wedding flowers for a fabulous wedding held in the Château Bèhen in Picardie France.
Due to customer demand Carole has recently expanded the wedding flower side of her business to include chair covers with organza sashes, venue decoration including star cloths/light curtains and other venue decoration as well as profesional balloon decoration. Offering brides a one stop shop for their wedding flowers and venue decoration.
Although based in Hertfordshire, Carole can travel throughout the UK and abroad to design a wedding or complete a corporate contract, the wedding flowers at the Château Béhen in Picardie, France are just one example.
